Machabeng College students sit for Check point examinations in Mathematics, Science and English at the end of Year Three. The college offers careers counselling program from an early stage which enables our students to follow diverse career paths. We believe that every child is a unique individual. In the Lower School, students are taught the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer studies, Geography, History, Art, Drama, Library skills, Physical Education, English, Sesotho, French, Mandarin, PSHE and Service Learning.

We look after the student's physical, Psychological and pastoral health through the onsite clinic with a qualified Nurse, a Counselor and, a Lower School Coordinator. The school sells fresh food at lunch as well as two tuck shops for snacks during breaks and after school. Educational trips are organized for students according to year groups and these are the extension of the classrooms practical learning and for recreation activities.
