We have a rich and vibrant culture at Machabeng College!
Clubs are driven by students interest and department support. We have many diverse offerings and hope that our new students find an organization that will connect you with people that have similar interests. Clubs are great opportunities to stay connected to others at Machabeng College.
We strongly encourage everyone to get involved in at least one Club. Most Clubs and Activities meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The meeting time will be determined by the committee members in their respective clubs. Times will be posted on their respective platforms. (Some clubs will only meet if there is enough student interest, so please reach out to your club committee.)
Chess teaches young people how to focus, think rationally, overcome difficulties, see patterns, and categorize data.
It aids in the development of problem-solving abilities, planning, patience, mental focus, and self control.
Robotics contributes to the increased need for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education in schools. Students not only learn about science, engineering, and math while programming the robot, but they also get an understanding of how these areas are related.
Come learn about the basics of programming! We work on all different kinds of programming
languages and projects, including projects through Hackathons hosted locally and online. You can also use this as time to work on independently projects.
The YearBook club collects original works of writing and art from Machabeng College student body and curates them to create an annual publication.
Model UN is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and its other multilateral bodies where
students perform an ambassador role while debating topics such as gender equality, climate action, global health and more.
